(bastards)
Hi All, I’m sorry to bother you with this, however I thought it might be useful.
I was in Canberra on the weekend for the Rockytrails 100 at Stromlo. We were staying at the Brakefree Apartments in Marcus Clarke Street. Unfortunately I parked the car in the outside carpark with my bike locked on top. Having the bike locked was no deterrent as it was stolen sometime during the night.
It is a very distinctive bike as you can see from the pics (note, the first pic was take a few months ago and the second pic is the latest). It is a Specialized single speed with the following components:
Frame: Specialized Rockhopper SL singlespeed with eccentric bottom bracket
Fork: Cannondale Lefty Speed fork
Handlebar: Truvativ Stylo World Cup Flat, 700mm, 10 degree sweep
Brakes: Avid Elixir 9 hydraulic with 180 front & 160 rear 6 bolt rotors
Wheels: DT Swiss X470 with Lefty SL32 hole front hub
Tyres: New Specialized The Captain 2” Sport (put on just before the race so not shown in the pics)
Crank: Truvativ Firex 3.3
Chainring: Blackspire – MTB Mono Veloce Single Speed 7075 Series 2013 4-Bolt 104mm 32t Black
Chain: KMC Chains X9 Light Gold 9 Speed Chain Each – 116 Links – Gold
Sprocket: Gusset Wheels Hubs Double Six Single Speed Conversion Kit with 17t sprocket
Seatpost: Thomson Masterpiece Layback Seatpost 30.9mm 350mm BLACK 7 Deg Layback
Saddle: Fizik Gobi 00 Braded Carbon Saddle
In the off chance that you come across the bike, can you contact me or the Canberra police.
Many thanks
Tim
